The Hood part 2
I have finished the hood. In the end I did stop after about 42 cm but I still think it looks totally out of shape.I am also not happy the way it covers up half of the back!
The sleeve is coming along nicely. I have stopped knitting on anything else.
Usually I do not do much in the way of Christmas Present knitting, but I think this year I may make a scarf and some felted buttonhole bags.
Noor is happy that we have reached the month of December. When she opened up the first door on her advent calender not Christmas was on her mind but her birthday, four days after Christmas.
I asked her what she wants for her birthday and she said: A plasma screen!
For her bedroom!
She did not say: I want a TV! No she wants a plasma screen.
Darling you are not having a TV in your room. Plasma or otherwise.
The husband found it funny that she wants technology that has already moved on to LCD or high defintion are something else that I can't remember.
I wish she would just want yarn or something hand knit!
As you can see I altered this picture a bit.The photo was going to be used to advertise this TV show. So far I have not come accross Noor anywhere. They may have changed their minds and not used children to advertise this show.

Maybe once it's all sewn up and the arms are in, the hood won't look quite so long. It's a shame to cover up all that beautiful stitch work.
Noor obviously has her sights for her birthday set very high...tell her that when she's modelling across the world she can have a plasma in her bathroom if she wants ;)I hope she has a lovely birthday anyway and enjoys whatever she gets.
