Fancy knitting

We, Tara and I are spending a lot of time at our changing station. I fitted the whole piece of furniture together while I was having contractions. In the end Amar had to help me and finished it less than two hours before she was born.
That is tomorrow five weeks ago. It feels like we have known her a lot longer ,in a way we have. She is growing fast. She now weighs 3.5 kg (7 1/2 lbs.)
My nice knitting is growing rather slow. It is supposed to be the cardigan 'Snapdragon' fro the Louisa Harding Gathering Roses book.
I bought the yarn as a present to myself for having Tara.
Tara can be a little demanding young lady.
To stop her from wanting two feed every half hour, we had to get her a soother.
I was not keen on the idea and I hate how it covers up half her face. I was also worried about nipple confusion. But now with it, I have to feed her every 3 - 4 hors and she feeds for longer.
Better for both of us.

Oh Tara looks so adorable, and it is quite cute when the soothers are nearly as big as they are. I love the yarn you are knitting with, and what a wonderful pressie to buy yourself too. You deserve it.

I cannot wait to meet her.

As the youngest child, I can say that well, they ARE demanding. Demanding can be good. Except of course at 2:00 am.
