Daughter and Knitting
She has taught a lot of her school friends. She has started a new craze at her school. O f course there has been a trip to our local yarn shop.
Today the girls held a sale of finger knitted scarves and they raised over £100 for charity.
She is wearing two of her creations. I know that the blue yarn is Rowan Big, but I can't remember what the maroon yarn is.
Get Knitted has a sale on. All the Louisa Harding yarn is reduced.
I tried on Leoni when Louisa visited our yarn shop. I did want to knit her, but I already have a very similar jumper knitted in GGH yarn from a Rebbecca pattern.
I had Noor take a look at some Louisa Harding pattern books and asked her what she wanted.
Her choice fell on Leoni - good choice.
I am knitting her Leoni in size x-small but I will shorten the lenght.

Way to go Noor, how fantastic raising that much money. I like the new Leonie knit too, very pretty. By the way I have nominated you for an award, so pop over and check it out.
