Stripes

The striped socks are finished. I started them way back in October. The yarn is Lana Grossa Magico. I had bought the yarn while on holiday in Switzerland. I am glad they are done.
My girl is getting bigger and bigger feet, so knitting socks for her is taking longer. They turned out almost identical.
I was going to take a photo of her wearing them but she put them on and then said that they itch a little and took them off again.
I just washed them and I hope they are going to be worn.

Sometimes when I have a minute or two I'll take out a knitting book and have a little read. I had graped this one and came across opptuna. I remembered my three balls of Noro Kureyon in my stash. Perfect!
A quick knit and stash used up. I did start to knit this in the 6 month size but then thought it looked to small and went to my local yarn shop to buy another ball of yarn.
I am glad I did and I like the finished 9 month size.
Overall a great little knit.
I love ravelry, I checked there how many others have knitted this in Kureyon.
I do have an opsession with the stripes. I made the sleeves look alike. I also matched up the front neck line. At least this time I did not cut out any colours like I did on my Butterfly where I did not use the green stripe.
