They make my day

And the awards go to:

Johanne: She has become one of my best friends. I have met her through my knitting. (She stalked me across the school playground) Thank you for opening up my knitting horizon.

Sue: Amazing how you can become friends with someone that lives on the other end of the world. Have the same interest and share things. Love reading her blog and keeping up with her life down under.

Dawn: I met her through Johanne at Liberty's. I feel very lucky to live here in London and being able to met other knitters at this wonderful store. I love Dawns blog, she is very organized with her knitting goals and tries to stick to them.

Polly: Another fellow Rowanette. She is a hardworking knitter and still manages every year to organize the Rowanette exchance. I may be able to participate this year again.

Pixiepurls: A fellow knitter who has a little baby girl. I came across her lovely blog on Ravelry.

Alpaca Rose: A blog I found via the Rowanette web ring. Her Alpacas are so cute and cuddly and she lives an amazing life in New Mexico. Reading her blog reminds me of my travels through New Mexico.

Knitting Redhead: A blog I found via someone elses blog. She is amazing, running a marathon and knitting at the same time.

Kay: I first came across her and Ann on the Rowan forum. I have since met her twice, love their book and the blog. Amazing what you can do with knitting.

Elisabeth: Another knitter I met through the Rowan forum and Kay's blog. I have also met her and her wonderful daughter Jamie. Her blog was the first I used to read on a regular basis and the blogs on her list.

Theresa: I came across her blog on Elisabeth, now we both have baby girls. It's great to read about her life in Chicago and see her little girl grow up.

I still find it amazing how the internet has changed knitting. A craft that is done in the comfort of ones home and used to stay there.
Only other knitters would know what kind of effort and time goes into something hand knit.
It is great to showcase our knitting on our blogs. I have tried new techniques and started patterns I would never have done otherwise.
I don't think I would ever have started St. Moritz without reading about Dale yarn on the internet. I will have the confidence to take scissors to my knitting after reading up on it on some other blogs.
I have joined some KAL in the past and I am sure I will that again in the future.

Thank you my friend. I am trying to think of something quirky and philosophical to write - but I can't. Your words are simple, eloquent and touching and have made me feel appreciated.
