Round and round the sleeves
My three projects are all at the sleeve stage. All sleeves are knitted in the round.The pinwheel jacket is nearly finished. I think this is the first time I knitted sleeves from the top down in the round.
St. Moritz is done in the round from the cuff onwards. I believe I am near the start of the colour work. I must sit down and count rows on the finished sleeve.
I started the first sleeve for the polo shirt. I only finished the cuff and then changed needles. I am knitting them in the round too. That way they make a nice on-the-go project.
I am off to the out of town baby store. I have to get two more stair gates. Somebody crawled all the way upstairs while I was cooking and big sister was doing her homework. I had such a fright when I could not find her anywhere downstairs. Since we moved the master bedroom in the loft we have two flights of stairs. I got the gates to go down about two months ago.
I am amazed that she can crawl upstairs from one day to the next. Tuesday we were safe and on Wednesday she is at the top. Has she practised without us?

She is a definate go getter isnt she. I can see her climbing everything. I remember when my son was 8 mths old and used to walk around the table holding onto the edges, then the next day he was halfway up a shelf on a cabinet we had. I got the biggest scare as he could have fallen. They are cheeky monkeys arent they. All the knits are looking good and what a different color for each, you wont get bored.
