Half the Mystery solved

The May squares for the Mystery Blanket have been finished just in time.
This month all the squares were repeats from the previous months. The only difference is the May sheep is looking the other way and has a black face.
All finished squares lined up. There are two whole columns still missing.
The top left hand corner is an easy guess. So are the remaining three squares on the second column from the right.
I am just glad I am ready for June.

A finished Polo Shirt

Last night was sewing night and I finished this lovely Polo Shirt.
I started on 11. April when we traveled to Switzerland. I knitted the body up to the arm holes in the round and I did the same with the sleeves. I used the three needle cast off on the shoulders.
All this made sewing up a breeze.
My local yarn shop has these cute little glittery buttons, the mint green is a perfect match with the yarn.
Yarn used: Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. I did use 4 balls and a little on a fifth.
I knitted size 12-18 month. It should fit Miss T in the autumn and coming winter. The pattern is from Cashmerino 3. Remember it is the book with Miss T in it.
I am still tempted to knit the little dress from the book.

Miss T picked the yarn from a choice of two. I gave her the pale pink and this lovely mint green.
She grabbed the mint straight away.

Busy with Miss Busy

Sorry no knitting today.
Just a quick update on life with a busy little Miss.
She can almost walk now, she has taken one or two unsteady steps.
As you can see, she has found Big Sisters favourite CD.
Big Sister must learn to clear her stuff higher up.
Perry the cat is staying a lot more outdoors or he stays in Big Sisters room. Out of the way from the hair and tail pulling.
Little Miss is now 10 months old. She is still small for her age, she has not much time for food and eating. Not as there is so much to see and explore.
summer has arrived here and we are spending some time in the garden in the shade.
But I have been to tired to knit a lot in the evenings.
Hopefully there will be some knitting update in a few days.

Organic Cotton

Recently I came across another brand of Organic Cotton yarn. I saw it first on the Loop website.
I then ordered myself the accompanying baby pattern book.
I was very surprised to see how much cheaper this yarn is compared to the Rowan Organic Cotton.
Yesterday we went to Bluewater and I found John Lewis has both yarns.
I got myself four balls to knit the cover cardigan in size 12-18 months. I am knitting the back and the two fronts in one go.

If I take photos for my blog, I have to hurry up. Before little Miss gets there.
Can you see the little hand in the top photo?
