Summer is almost over and we were having fun.We left London for almost the whole month of August. Traveled to Germany and stayed with friends for a few days. Visited family in the Netherlands and from there drove to Switzerland to stay 3 1/2 weeks with my Mum in Lucerne.
On our way home we had a 2 day stop over in Paris.
Paris is as beautiful as it has always been.
Switzerland was having a great heat wave and we really enjoyed our time, in the water, on water or on mountain tops.The husband to go back home in between and work. While us ladies relaxed and had a great time.
Big Sister has now started a new school. I can't believe she is already in secondary school. So far she is enjoying her new school.
Knitting has been with me, but I have not done much. I took two projects with me. I was making good progress on the first but then discovered I had left the pattern at home.
Lucky I had more yarn and the pattern printout with me. I started knitting Decimal in Rowan Cotton Glace.
Progress has been very small. I seem to only manage a few rows a day.
I really wanted to see new winter yarns in Switzerland. But the yarn stores had no new ones instore. In Paris I did not even visit a yarn store.
