My new do

This morning I joined the rush hour commute and visited the hair dresser.
The lovely Christophe from France cut around 16 inches (40cm) off.

See!

He was very touched, that I donated my hair to The little Princess Trust.
After I had a head massage and had the hair washed and conditioned, he went to work.

Here is the result.
Still the same me what with new hair.
It is shorter than I anticipated.
I think I am in need of a scarf and a hat. Anybody got any ideas on patterns?
Last time I had my hair cut short was when I was around 13 or 14.
Since then I only ever had my hair trimmed.
I have posted the pony tail off to the little Princess Trust.
My Just Giving page will stay open until January 2012.

Oh you look so fantastic with your new haircut! You could always knit up a beret from Alana Dakos as she has really lovely patterns.

Suits you. I love the cabled beret pattern from Knitty called 'Bramble' interesting knit and looks great with a bob.

I hope you like the new do. I think you look great. That the new do was also in aid of such a good cause makes you all the more lovbely! I like the Debbie Bliss slouch beret from her first magazine. Think you may have knitted it before.
